Avinash Shenoy is a Reader of Innate Immunity & Infection in the Dept of Infectious Disease, Imperial College London.
My group is based at the South Kensington campus within the Centre for Bacterial Resistance Biology (CBRB).
Research Interests
My main research interest is host-bacterial pathogen interaction.
We investigate innate immune signalling pathways called inflammasomes, which can sense and respond to infection. Inflammasomes play important roles in immunity, but they are also responsible for inflammatory diseases.
